Maria was born in Mexico and moved to the United States as a child with her mom and youngest sibling. Having to quickly adapt to a new culture and language, she learned as much as she could quickly to be able to strive daily in a new world. She also had to mature very young, and her dream was to be able to help children like herself when she was older. As a young adult she started as a receptionist at a mortgage company and then later promoted to a loan processor, where she helped thousands of families achieve homeownership and generation wealth.

Later in life she would have a very tragic life changing event where the importance of insurance would urge her to pursue a career in the insurance industry, wanting to share the news of how to protect your assets.
